Sitting In The Cheap Seats

2016 is nearly over and while we’re looking excited to see what 2017 holds it would be remiss of us not to reflect on the shows that have entertained us this year!

For the last few years, since the birth of this site, one of December’s defining points has been seeing Chichester Festival Youth Theatre ’s always impressive Christmas productions. So it is that we find ourselves in the cosy surrounds of the festival theatre to see this year’s offering – Peter Pan.

2016 is nearly over and, despite not getting to see nearly as much theatre as we’d like, we’ve seen lots of performances that we will long remember. We couldn’t list all the people who have really impressed us over the past year but the folks below brought their characters to life with performances that made us laugh, cry and kept us thinking long after we left the theatre!

Maxwell Caulfield , Zoë Doano and Chris Peluso are to head the cast of Death Takes A Holiday , the third Charing Cross Theatre musical directed by Artistic Director Thom Southerland following the critically acclaimed Titanic and Ragtime, which has just received an all-time record 14 Off West End Award nominations as well as WhatsOnStage Award nominations for Best Musical Revival and Best Off West End Producton.
